EgyptAir Crash: Signals Detected

June 02, 2016

French officials have said that they detected signals which are presumed to come from the black box of the doomed EgyptAir flight 804 plane.

The plane – which crashed into the Mediterranean on May 19th – has been the subject of an ongoing investigation by both Egyptian and French officials.

It has not yet been determined what caused the plane to crash into the ocean.

However, there have been many speculations as to what happened to the aircraft, with some people believing there was a bomb on board. The aircraft’s automatic messaging system relayed a message that some was detected in the aircraft shortly before it dropped from radar.

The signals being detected have been confirmed as those of the plane’s black boxes, but the location of the boxes has not been determined.

However, the pings from the boxes will now be used to find the box.

Both France and Egypt have sent special vessels to the wreckage location to help find the boxes at the bottom of the sea.
