Hot Trends for Spring
Spring isn’t too far away, which means it’s time for a little spring freshness and colour in our wardrobes. Think colourful dresses, suave hats and brightly coloured bags – spring is the ultimate season for a fashion evolution.
- Crop Tops
We’ve seen them everywhere – from the runway to movie premiers – crop tops are this season’s hottest ticket. Get them in black and white or light pastel colours and you’re ready to go. Just be sure you find one that fits. And please, do not wear them with hipster jeans, this is not 2001.
- Mesh Skirts
Every girl loves to feel like like a princess or ballerina, and a mesh skirt is the best way to pull that off without looking like you work at Disneyland.
You can go full out all mesh, or keep an eye open for mesh inset skirts with either paneling on the side or bottom of the skirt. Brighter colours will make your skirt pop even more, but be careful not to get to meshy (aka looking like you’re wearing a tutu)
- Big, floppy hats
Hats are inter-seasonal. You can wear them in winter to keep you warm and then again in spring and summer to shield you from the sun. and let’s not forget that they’re uber fashionable and right on trend.
A big floppy hat is the way to go this spring. Stick to neutral colours (i.e black, white or cream) to make them work with any outfit. Find a hat that perfectly frames your face. Not big and not too small, but a perfect hat that will put your pretty face on full display.
