US Condemns Boko Haram Attack In Niger

The United States government condemned the attack and also expressed their condolences to the families of the victims of the attack:

“…The United States condemns in the strongest terms Boko Haram’s barbaric June 3 attack on a military outpost in Bosso, Niger…We extend our deepest condolences to the families and friends of the 30 Nigeriens and two Nigerian soldiers killed in the attack and the 67 individuals who were injured,” a part of the US government’s statement read.

They continued saying that they will continue to support their allies, Nigeria and their neighbouring countries, in the fight against Boko Haram:

“…The United States stands by our partners in Niger, Nigeria, Chad, and Cameroon and supports their efforts to fight and defeat Boko Haram,” the statement concluded.
