Balogun Replaced by Agbo for World Cup Qualifier
The Super Eagles’ technical advisor, Gernot Rohr, has announced that he has replaced Leon Balogun with Uche Henry Agbo for the 2018 World Cup qualifying match next month.
The Super Eagles will face off against Zambia in next month’s match.
Balogun recently sustained an injury that ruled him out of play for the qualifying match against Chipolopolo.
Agbo currently plays for Granada Football Club in Spain.
The Nigerian Football Federation also confirmed that they had already contacted Agbo’s manager and sent an official invitation letter to Agbo to join the Nigerian national team.
Agbo will then join the rest of the Super Eagles players at the Bolton White Hotel and Apartments in Abudja. The team is set to arrive there on Saturday.
