Harry Kane Thanks Tottenham Teammates for Support

Tottenham Hotspur’s superstar striker, Harry Kane, has thanked his teammates for their support in helping him become one of the top goalscorers in the English Premier League this season.

He also thanked his teammates for not just relying on him for goals, but scoring goals themselves.

Currently, Kane has scored 19 goals in 23 EPL appearances with teammates Dele Alli scoring 16 and Heung-Min Son scoring 11.

“I said earlier in the season that if you want to be title contenders, you need two or three players getting double figures…If more than one player can reach 20 goals this season, it will really help the team,” Kane told reporters recently.

He continued, saying that he really appreciated the way his teammates still continued to score during the games that he missed himself.

“When you look at the eight league games I’ve missed this season due to injury, we’ve won five and drawn three. So we’re still scoring goals and still winning games, which shows the strength in our squad..It is important we keep that up now until the end of the season and put as much pressure on Chelsea as we can,” he said.

Tottenham can still claim Premier League glory if they manage to close in on leaders, Chelsea. They are currently in second place, seven points behind Chelsea.
