Tottenham Hotspur’s star striker, Harry Kane, had quite a significant injury on Sunday during the match against Sunderland.

Kane injured his right ankle during the game that saw Tottenham take the win, 1 – 0 thanks to Kane. After scoring the game’s winning goal, Kane crashed into Papy Djilobodji, and had to be carried off in a stretcher just before the 60 minute mark.

Tottenham manager, Mauricio Pochettino, said that Kane will now undergo tests to fully analyse his injury.

“We’ll see tomorrow how is his ankle…I’m happy for him, but disappointed with his injury. The image was a little bit tough, but we need to assess tomorrow. We hope it’s not a big issue for us,” Pochettino told reporters.

Eric Dier and Mousa Dembele also sustained injuries during the game, both of them believed to be hamstring injuries.
