Jamie Vardy: Still Deciding On Leicester Or Arsenal

Jamie Vardy is undeniably the star of the 2015/2016 English Premier League season, and he has been staying firmly in the limelight by keeping both Leicester City and Arsenal on their toes.

News of London-based club Arsenal’s offer to sign Vardy has been going around for the past few weeks, after the 29-year old striker helped his team win the Premier League in what is considered as one of the greatest campaigns of all time.

According to reports, Arsenal has offered Vardy a four-year contract, estimated to be worth more than £20 million.

That is quite the jump for the star striker, as he was only offered £1 million to join Leicester from Fleetwood Town back in 2012.

The urgency in which Arsenal wants to sign Vardy is just a testament to how far Vardy has come.

However, Vardy has not yet made up his mind and is still deciding whether he should join Arsenal or stay with Leicester for the upcoming season.

In between his decision making, Vardy has also had to concentrate on international soccer, as he has been called up for national duty, representing England at the European Championships which is set to kick off this weekend.

While Arsenal has made the offer to Vardy, reports suggest that Leicester also made a counter offer for the striker.

We will have to wait and see if Vardy will leave his beloved Leicester for a run in London.
