John Terry To Stay With Chelsea

Chelsea captain, John Terry, has decided to put rumours of him leaving the London club to ret, as he has just announced a signing of a new contract with Chelsea.

Fans freaked out back in January when Terry publicly said that he had not yet been offered an extension on his contract. However, that all changed this week when he signed another one-year contract with Chelsea.

Chelsea is on the verge of a shake up, as they are getting a new manager in the form of Italian coach, Antonio Conte.

Terry said he is delighted to stay on with the Blues for another year:

“…I am delighted to sign a new contract with the club. Everyone knows I’m Chelsea through and through…I am looking forward to next season under the new manager and hopefully we can make it a successful one…Also, a special mention to the fans for their continued support. You’re the best in the world,” he said in a statement on Chelsea’s website.
