Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp Praises United

Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, has done something quite unusual by praising rival English Premier League team, Manchester United.
In a move that is sure to upset some Liverpool fans, the German manager recently told reporters that he believes Jose Mourinho’s men have what it takes to win the Europa League and secure a title they have never won before.

“Manchester United have a tremendously well-assembled squad. They are very likely to reach the Europa League final,” Klopp told the media.

He continued, saying that Manchester United’s squad is so ‘extensive’ that they could face and tackle any problem that would come their way.

“They have already got injury problems. But with their extensive squad, they have been able to react to pretty much everything that has come their way,” he said.

He then concluded, saying outright that he thinks United are a very good team and that they will more likely than not win the Europa League this year.

“You can tell from that just how much quality they possess from the outset. United have a mix of experience, pace and quality…They are truly a good team. And to my mind they are the outright favourites to win the Europa League,” he said.

United will face Anderlecht on Thursday in their second-leg of the quarter finals in the Europa League.

Their previous clash with Anderlecht ended in a 1-1 draw.
