Qatar Club Shows Interest In Ighalo

A football club from Qatar, whose name has not been made public, has apparently made a massive offer to Watford striker, Odion Ighalo.

According to various sources, the club has made an offer of a whopping 13 million Euros for the Nigerian international.

The sources also claim that the club will offer Ighalo a four-year contract with them.

Many have speculated that if Ighalo accepts the offer and packs his bags for Qatar, he would be in for a massive payday, as he is estimated to make around 5 million Euros per season at the new club, which could mean a total pay-out of 20 million Euros for the entire four years.

If that were to be converted to Nigerian naira, that would be N1.7 billion.

This is also not the first time that Ighalo has been linked to overseas clubs. Recently, there were rumours of the striker moving to English Premier League clubs such as West Ham United, Chelsea and Everton.
