Ronaldo Causes Controversy At Euro 2016

Cristiano Ronaldo is not having the best time at the European Championships.

First, he was criticised for his poor performance at the tournament. Being the captain of the Portuguese national side, you would think that he would lead his team to victory.

However, Portugal has had a less than stellar performance at the championship so far. They have drawn both their games and will now have to win tonight’s game against Hungary to secure a spot in the top 16.

Ronaldo also missed out on a crucial penalty in Portugal’s game against Austria, which ended in a 1 – 1 draw.

And to add insult to injury (by his own accord, though) Ronaldo caused more upset today when he threw a reporter’s microphone into a lake.

The reporter came up to Ronaldo to ask him questions while he was out on a walk with his team.

Without saying anything, he simply took the reporter’s microphone and threw it into a nearby lake.

He has since been criticised online for the action.
