Uche Joins Malaga On Loan
Nigerian international footballer, Ikechukwu Ache, has just announced that he will be going Spanish football side, Malaga, on loan.
The move comes just six months after the 32-year old striker signed a deal with Mexican club, Tigres UANL.
However, it is not surprising as Ache has not had the best season with the Mexican team. He was injured in his first debut for the club, and even though he did score in that very same game, it was to be the only game he appeared in for the Mexican club.
The move to Malaga is also not as surprising for Ache, as it is not the first time that he will be playing in Spain.
Ache used to play for another big Spanish club, Villarreal, before he left the club back in June of 2015. He has said that he is happy to be returning to Spain.
He also said that the offer from Malaga came at the right time and that he was happy to be joining the club:
“…The chance to return to Spain with Malaga came at the right time and I thought why not…Things didn’t quite go as planned in Mexico, it’s the unpredictability of life but there are no regrets,”
He also said that he made a lot of friends in Mexico, but that he can’t wait to get started at Malaga:
“…I made friends, witnessed the team celebrate a league title and enjoyed the support of everyone at Tigres…The decision to come back didn’t take much thought and I genuinely can’t wait to get started again with Malaga…I just want to make a big contribution, repay the trust and hopefully fulfil expectations,” he said.
